-„Come baaaack! Come back right nooow! What on Earth do you think? I kill you!!! (And at this point the dachsund starts tor un to the opposite direction and if you are lucky he doesn’t lay into fresh, steaming poo.)

General scenario between dachsund owners. They are small but with a big amount of stubborness and obstinacy. Hard hand, consistency and rigor. I decided next time I will have a dachsund these will be my weapons. Besides these I also decided years ago when I will have opportunity to keep a dog again, I will take it to Viki. I knew all of her dogs and without exception they were all obedient and incredibly cool dogs. That type of dogs who you can’t look at without a smile on your face, but they jumped immediately for Viki’s one word in every situation.

So it happened that this February I took home a barely half kilogram of wire-haired lil devil. I tought him the first commands and when he got all his shots, Viki came with Ninja to start his offical education. We improved smoothly step-by-step, we practised a lot and when out of curiosity I took him to an open day of a dog school, I contentedly noticed that the lil guinea pig (how Viki always called him when he was a puppy) already knew everything that those dogs were learning there.

When puberty came we handled the situation fast with repeating and cleaning my communication. Apport was a big issue fo him. Viki used 4-5 techinques until we reached our goal. Viki understands dogs’ language very well, finds the motivation and if the owner doesn’t give it up before time she will keep searching for the solution until it’s solved. When it’s needed she will handle dog or she will handle the owner. I’m infinitely grateful for Viki because my 1 year old little monkey today is an obedient, well-mannered kid and I’m always asked: „Are you sure he’s a real dachsund?”
